LHRAmericas LHR Americas recruits people from around the world to workin Saudi Arabia. Who are we looking for? We are seeking aCompressor Engineer (mechanical engineering background) to workwith our refinery department Reliability Unit (RU).

The RU is acentralized engineering unit, its function caters mainly to thetechnical needs of our refinery operations and supportsorganizations in compressor monitoring, technical support,troubleshooting, and coordinating PdM and PM activities.

Yourprimary role will be to provide technical support to our refineryoperating plants, projects, and technology deployment as well asthe talent development of junior Compressor Engineers.

You will beexpected to conduct special studies and analyses in specializedrotating equipment assets, manage our reliability programs, anddevelop monitoring programs to uplift equipment availability andreliability.

Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in MechanicalEngineering. - 10 years of experience in rotating equipment withina refinery or the Petrochemical industry.

You must have athorough knowledge of best engineering practices, solid industrycodes and standards background, and use of engineering softwaresuch as system1, CCC, or Vibration CSI.

Key Responsibilities -Provide technical guidance, support, training, and expertise toplant departments. - Assess plant operation, maintenance, andengineering with technical information for the rotating equipmentand compressor systems and recommended actions for improvements andsystem optimization.

  • Develop and maintain lifecycle managementactivities on the rotating equipment and compressor systems. -Develop and coordinate PdM and PM for rotating equipment andcompressor systems activities.
  • Ensure manufacturing knowledge iscaptured and continuous improvement is delivered by benchmarkingand improving practices across our operating facilities.
  • Provideleadership and support for rotating equipment and compressorsystems across our operating facilities. - Provide engineeringexpertise and consulting on plant rotating equipment and compressorsystems.
  • Carry out thorough failure analysis & issuerecommendations. Also, participate in equipment major failuresinvestigation teams.
  • Gather / analyze critical rotating equipmentoperating parameters from DCS, PI & operator Checklist and beable to recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed technicalscope for major equipment overhaul. - Maintain and executeinstallation, configuration, and upgrade procedures.
  • Lead / givesupport to plant outages, shutdowns, and chronicle problems. -System testing and health monitoring, experience in using systemlogs for troubleshooting.
  • Create and implement new strategies toimprove productivity for the company, as well as support start-up& maintenance activities.
  • Review EDC, new and upgradeprojects’ packages, and provide comments. - Establish &maintain an asset’s fault analysis database ensuring all data,drawings, and information are complete and all modifications areupdated.
